Te mapa
Obala lies in the Centre region of Cameroon, north of the capital Yaoundé, and serves as the administrative seat of the Lekié department. The surrounding country is made up of rolling uplands, forest patches and cultivated plots, and on the map the town appears as a cluster of streets gathered where the main roads meet.
The road leading north from Yaoundé passes through Obala, and the town has grown along it, with side streets branching off into residential quarters. Beyond the centre, the built-up area thins into farmland and small settlements scattered across the hills, linked by a network of tracks.
Lekié is known as an agricultural area, and the landscape reflects that, with fields and gardens filling the spaces between villages. An Obala map poster shows a town shaped by its position on the road north, with its street network unfolding outward from the main route into the green, gently rolling countryside around it.
The route from Yaoundé runs straight through the town, forming a spine along which most of the commercial and administrative streets are arranged.
Residential streets spread from the main road in an irregular pattern, following the contours of the hills rather than a fixed grid.
Around the town, a web of tracks connects small villages and farm plots, filling the edges of the map with a fine, scattered pattern.

Koteā ko Obala
For people from Lekié or those with family in the Centre region, a map of Obala marks a place of origin. Its simple road-centred shape also makes a clear, uncluttered image on the wall.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name or a year. The poster comes in Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
