Te mapa
Ono lies in the Harima region of Hyōgo Prefecture, north of Kobe and Himeji, on the banks of the Kakogawa River. The town spreads across the river valley, with a compact centre near the water and residential districts extending onto the gentle slopes around it. Rice fields and irrigation ponds fill the ground between neighbourhoods.
The city is known across Japan for its craft traditions. Banshū soroban, the wooden abacus, has been made here for centuries, and the area is also known for hand-forged blades and scissors. On the eastern edge of town, Jōdo-ji temple preserves a Kamakura-period hall that is designated a National Treasure.
An Ono map poster captures a landscape typical of inland Harima: a river, small reservoirs, low wooded hills and a town that fills the space between them. The irrigation ponds in particular give the map an unusual rhythm of small water shapes. It is a thoughtful gift for people with ties to Hyōgo, or anyone who values traditional Japanese craft.
The river runs through the town from north to south, drawing a broad, gentle curve that anchors the whole composition.
Numerous small reservoirs dot the surrounding farmland, appearing as scattered water shapes that are characteristic of the Harima countryside.
The town's streets follow the valley floor and climb onto low hills at its edges, giving a mix of regular and winding patterns.

Koteā ko Ono
Ono is a place of quiet craftsmanship, and a minimal map poster suits that character. It shows the river, the ponds and the streets without decoration, which makes it right for a study, an entryway or a workshop.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Print at home from the 300 DPI files or order a finished poster shipped from a local partner.
