Te mapa
Otsego is a growing city in Wright County, northwest of Minneapolis, where the suburbs meet the farmland of central Minnesota. Its map is bounded by water: the Mississippi River runs along the northern edge and the Crow River along the east. Between them, the land is a patchwork of rectangular fields, section-line roads and newer neighborhoods with the looping streets and cul-de-sacs typical of recent development.
Interstate 94 crosses the southern part of the city on a long diagonal, and much of the commercial growth has gathered near its interchanges. Otsego has changed quickly over the last few decades, from a rural township into a suburban city, and the map still shows both: straight country roads next to curving residential lanes.
An Otsego map poster brings these layers together. The broad curves of the Mississippi and the Crow River frame the composition, the interstate adds one strong straight line, and the subdivisions fill the spaces with soft, organic shapes. It is a portrait of a place in the middle of change, drawn with clean lines.
The Mississippi along the north and the Crow River to the east give the city natural water boundaries that curve across the map.
I-94 cuts across the southern part of the city, a long, straight line that contrasts with the rural grid and the curving streets.
Newer neighborhoods appear as clusters of looping streets and cul-de-sacs set among rectangular fields.

Koteā ko Otsego
Many people moved to Otsego for a first house, a bigger yard or a quieter life near the river. A map of the city marks that choice and shows the neighborhood they helped build.
