Te mapa
Palm Bay covers an unusually large area for a city of its size. Much of it was laid out in the mid-twentieth century as a single vast subdivision, and the result is one of the most striking street patterns in Florida: long, gently curving roads, hundreds of cul-de-sacs and a network of straight drainage canals crossing the land at regular intervals.
The city's eastern edge touches the Indian River Lagoon, where Turkey Creek winds out to meet the water through a protected area of hammock and marsh. Inland, towards the west, development gradually gives way to wetlands and the headwaters of the St. Johns River, and the street grid simply stops against open land.
A Palm Bay map poster turns what might seem like ordinary suburbia into something quietly graphic. The repetition of streets, the rhythm of canals and the sheer scale of the platted land make an image that looks almost like a textile pattern. Palm Bay sits on the Space Coast, not far south of the launch sites at Cape Canaveral.
Long, straight drainage canals cut across the city at regular intervals, dividing neighbourhoods into large blocks and giving the map a strong underlying geometry.
The creek winds through a wooded sanctuary before reaching the Indian River Lagoon, a soft, organic line against the regular streets of the east side.
On the western edge, platted streets give way to open marsh and the upper St. Johns River basin, leaving a wide calm margin on the map.

Koteā ko Palm Bay
Palm Bay is full of people who chose it: retirees, young families, engineers working on the Space Coast. A map of the city shows the neighbourhood you picked, the canal behind your house and the drive to the lagoon, all in one frame.
Set your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with the date you closed on the house, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint works especially well for a city this carefully planned.
