Te mapa
Brandon is an unincorporated community in Hillsborough County, a short drive east of Tampa. From above it shows the classic Florida suburban pattern: long arterial roads laid out on a broad grid, with curving residential streets, cul-de-sacs and retention ponds filling the spaces between them. Small lakes and stormwater basins scatter the map with irregular shapes.
Interstate 75 and the Selmon Expressway pass nearby, linking the community to Tampa and the wider Bay Area, and much of its commercial life gathers around the Westfield Brandon mall. The Alafia River runs to the south through a greener, less built-up landscape.
A Brandon map poster turns an everyday suburb into an interesting pattern. Wide main roads divide the area into large blocks, and inside each one the looping streets and ponds form their own small shapes. For anyone who grew up here, the print is instantly recognisable: familiar routes, familiar corners, home.
Between the main roads, residential streets curve into loops and cul-de-sacs, creating the intricate, cell-like texture that fills most of the map.
Retention ponds and natural lakes appear throughout the neighbourhoods as rounded white shapes, giving the dense street pattern a regular break.
Long, straight main roads run between the subdivisions and meet near the mall, providing the map's main structure.

Koteā ko Brandon
Brandon is often where people buy a first home, raise children or return for the holidays, so the print usually has a personal story behind it. It makes a good housewarming gift for someone moving into the Tampa Bay area.
