Te mapa
Pangururan lies on the western shore of Samosir, the large island in the middle of Lake Toba in North Sumatra. The lake fills the caldera of an ancient supervolcano, and the town sits where Samosir comes closest to the surrounding mainland, separated only by a narrow channel crossed by a bridge.
From above, the map shows streets gathered along the shoreline, with the lake on one side and hills rising behind. A Pangururan map poster captures this setting clearly: a small town at the edge of vast water, its layout shaped by the curve of the shore and the narrow crossing to the mainland.
As the administrative centre of Samosir Regency, Pangururan is an important town for the Batak Toba communities around the lake. Hot springs lie on the slopes nearby, and roads lead around the island and across to the mainland. The result is a map that balances water, hills and a compact settlement in a distinctive landscape.
The town follows the shoreline of the enormous caldera lake, its streets tracing the water's curve and giving the map a strong, flowing edge.
A narrow channel separates Samosir from the Sumatran mainland near the town, crossed by a bridge that appears as a short, decisive line on the map.
Hills rise behind the town toward the island's interior, framing the settlement and showing how it occupies a narrow strip between slope and lake.

Koteā ko Pangururan
Lake Toba holds deep meaning for Batak families and a lasting impression for travellers. A map of Pangururan, with its shore and channel, is a clear and personal reminder of that landscape.
The title and subtitle can carry a family name, a clan, a date or a phrase in Indonesian or English. Blueprint emphasises the lake, while Paper gives the shoreline a soft, archival look.
