Te mapa
Pelabuhanratu sits on the south coast of West Java, in Sukabumi Regency, on a broad bay that opens onto the Indian Ocean. It is the seat of the regency and an important fishing port. On the map the town follows the curve of the shore, with the harbour, markets and main streets along the water and steep hills rising a short way inland.
This coast is closely tied to the legend of Nyi Roro Kidul, the Queen of the Southern Sea, a figure deeply rooted in Javanese belief. Local tradition says visitors should not wear green on the beach, and a room in the Samudra Beach Hotel has long been set aside in her honour. Every year fishermen hold a sea offering ceremony known as Hari Nelayan.
A Pelabuhanratu map poster shows the full sweep of the bay, drawn as a single line against the empty space of the ocean. The Cimandiri River reaches the sea near the town, the fishing port forms a small geometric pocket in the curve, and roads climb toward the hills. This is a map of a place defined by the sea.
The wide bay opens to the Indian Ocean and dominates the poster. Its long curving shore runs past the town, the beaches and the small settlements along the coast road.
The port, with its breakwaters and basins, is a compact geometric shape on the shoreline. It is the working heart of a town where fishing has long been the main livelihood.
One of the larger rivers of southern West Java meets the sea close to the town. Its final bends add a soft, winding line to the edge of the map.

Koteā ko Pelabuhanratu
Pelabuhanratu is a familiar weekend escape from Jakarta, Bogor and Sukabumi, and it means a great deal to people who grew up by this sea. A poster of the bay works for both: a memory of long drives to the coast, or of the view from home.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can all be personalised, and you can choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Check the free 900 px watermarked preview first. Then download six HD print sizes for $9 or order a matte printed poster.
