Te mapa
Perai lies on the mainland side of Penang in Malaysia, within Seberang Perai, just south of Butterworth. The Perai River flows into the channel that separates the mainland from Penang Island, and on a map it forms a clear line cutting through the town before meeting the sea.
The area is one of Penang's main industrial zones, and its layout reflects that role. Large industrial estates appear as broad rectangles with internal roads, surrounded by residential neighbourhoods, rail lines and highways that connect the port, the mainland and the Penang Bridge, which lands a short distance to the south.
A Perai map poster captures a place shaped by water and industry. The river, the coastline and the geometric forms of factories and warehouses combine into a strong, graphic composition. It is a less familiar side of Penang than George Town, but its structure is clear and distinctive in black and white.
The river flows through the town toward the strait, dividing districts and forming the main natural line on the map, with bridges crossing at intervals.
Large planned industrial zones appear as big, regular blocks with orderly internal roads, giving the poster a bold, geometric character.
Highways and rail lines run along the coast toward Butterworth and the Penang Bridge, linking Perai to the island and the wider peninsula.
