Pipariā is a town in the Narmadapuram district of Madhya Pradesh, in central India. It lies on a broadly flat, farmed plain, with the forested Satpura range rising to the south. On the map, a network of streets gathers around the railway station, while roads and farm tracks spread out through fields and villages.
The town is best known as the railhead for Pachmarhi, the hill station in the Satpura hills. Travellers heading there usually arrive at Pipariā by train and continue by road into the hills. The railway line running through town is part of the main route between Itarsi and Jabalpur.
