Te mapa
Piscataway is a township in Middlesex County, New Jersey, and one of the oldest settlements in the state, with its origins in the 1660s. From above, it is a spread of suburban neighbourhoods built on curving streets and cul-de-sacs, cut through by major roads including Interstate 287. The Raritan River forms part of its southern edge.
Much of Piscataway's map is shaped by Rutgers University. The Busch and Livingston campuses sit within the township, and their open fields, research buildings, stadium and connecting roads show as a distinct zone of larger blocks and green space. Industrial parks and office campuses add further areas of broad, simple shapes.
A Piscataway map poster shows a place made of layers rather than a single centre: residential loops, university grounds, commercial corridors and the river to the south. In monochrome the curving streets create a soft, repeating texture, and the campuses provide open space that balances the composition.
The Busch and Livingston campuses spread across the township as large blocks of open land, buildings and campus roads, a distinctive zone among the suburban streets.
The river runs along the southern side of Piscataway, adding a strong natural edge to a map otherwise defined by roads and neighbourhoods.
Residential areas are built on curving streets and cul-de-sacs, which repeat across the township and give the map a soft, flowing texture.

Koteā ko Piscataway
Piscataway makes a natural keepsake for Rutgers students and alumni, and for families who have made a home in the township. The campuses and the river give the map recognisable anchors among the suburban streets.
