Te mapa
Podgorica occupies a flat plain in central Montenegro, surrounded by mountains, and rivers organise its map. The Morača flows through the city in a deep channel, and the smaller Ribnica joins it near the old centre. Bridges cross at regular intervals, tying the historic quarters on one bank to the post-war blocks and newer districts on the other.
The city was largely rebuilt after the Second World War and was called Titograd until 1992. Older periods survive in Stara Varoš, the Ottoman-era quarter with its narrow lanes and clock tower, and in the ruins near the river confluence. The cable-stayed Millennium Bridge has become a modern symbol, and Gorica Hill forms a wooded park to the north.
A Podgorica map poster shows a capital at a human scale: rivers cutting through the plain, a web of bridges and streets, and the contrast between old winding lanes and the straight avenues of the socialist-era plan. It suits Montenegrins at home and abroad, and anyone who has passed through on the way to the coast or the mountains.
The Morača and Ribnica meet close to the historic centre. Their channels form a strong fork that anchors the whole composition of the map and divides the city into distinct parts.
The old Ottoman quarter keeps a compact tangle of narrow, irregular streets beside the river. It looks clearly different from the wide, straight avenues of the rebuilt city around it.
The cable-stayed bridge over the Morača opened in the mid-2000s. It is one of several crossings that link both sides of the city and structure its street network.

Koteā ko Podgorica
Podgorica is often a city people come back to, for family, for work in the capital or on the way to the coast. Its rivers and bridges make a clear, recognisable map that feels like home to those who know it.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with the old name Titograd or a meaningful date, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
