Te mapa
Quipungo is a town and municipality in Huíla Province, on the high plateau of southern Angola, east of the provincial capital Lubango. The map shows a modest centre of streets and blocks. Around it lies a large rural area where scattered settlements, fields and grazing land extend in every direction across fairly level ground.
The Huíla plateau lies well above sea level, which gives the region a milder climate than much of Angola and makes it important for farming and cattle raising. Around Quipungo, the landscape appears on a map as a broad, open space crossed by a few roads and tracks, with small villages where they meet.
The town sits on the transport corridor linking the coast and Lubango with the interior, and its main routes run long and straight across the plateau. A Quipungo map poster reflects this spacious setting, with a compact knot of streets at the centre and fine lines reaching outward toward the wider province.
The town's streets and buildings gather in a small, clearly defined area, forming the densest part of the map and a natural focal point for the design.
Long roads cross the level highland around the town, drawn as clean, straight or gently curving lines that link Quipungo to Lubango and the interior.
Villages and homesteads are spread across the surrounding plateau. They appear as small clusters of lines separated by broad stretches of farmland and grazing land.
