Te mapa
Rạch Giá sits on the western edge of the Mekong Delta, where flat, canal-laced land meets the Gulf of Thailand. From above the city is cut by waterways: a river and several canals run through it to the sea, dividing the older centre into sections joined by bridges. Along the shore, large areas of reclaimed land have been laid out as a new, regular grid pushing into the gulf.
Long the provincial capital of Kiên Giang, the city became part of An Giang province in 2025. It is closely associated with Nguyễn Trung Trực, a nineteenth-century resistance leader honoured at a temple in the city, and it is a departure point for ferries to Phú Quốc and other islands in the gulf.
A Rạch Giá map poster is a study in contrast between organic delta settlement and planned expansion. The winding canals, the straight new blocks on reclaimed land and the open expanse of the sea give the print a wide, horizontal calm that suits a long wall.
A large planned area built out into the Gulf of Thailand, its straight streets and rectangular blocks standing apart from the older city behind them.
Waterways from the delta converge on the city and flow into the sea, drawn as thin curving lines threaded between the streets.
The coastline opens onto the Gulf of Thailand, leaving a broad, empty field of water that gives the composition space on its western side.

Koteā ko Rạch Giá
Rạch Giá is a place of departures and returns, a gateway to the islands and a home for many families of the western delta. A map keeps its canals and shoreline in view long after the ferry has left.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose among Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits the city's mix of water and planned streets particularly well.
