Te mapa
Rāipur lies on the eastern side of Dehradun in Uttarakhand, where the city's built-up area starts to loosen. The map shows a mix of older lanes, newer colonies and roads leading out toward the hills. Plots follow the gentle tilt of the valley floor, so the grid is rarely square. It bends around seasonal watercourses and the edges of cultivated land.
The Doon Valley is framed by the Shivalik range to the south and the lower Himalaya to the north. From Rāipur the ground starts rising noticeably toward the mountains. On a map, that shows up as roads that switch from straight suburban runs to winding routes climbing into forested slopes.
A Rāipur map poster suits anyone with a tie to this corner of Dehradun, whether through family, study or work. In monochrome, the density of the settled valley and the open land beyond both stand out. It reads as a portrait of a place sitting where town and mountain meet.
Residential lanes and colony roads spread across the gently sloping valley floor in a dense, slightly irregular mesh that is typical of Dehradun's growing edges.
Dry riverbeds and monsoon channels cross the area, cutting through the street pattern. They leave pale, braided shapes that read well on a black-and-white print.
Toward the north and east, roads begin to curve and climb, marking the transition from the Doon Valley into the forested Himalayan foothills.

Koteā ko Rāipur
Dehradun draws families, students and retirees, and Rāipur is part of that story for many of them. A map of its lanes and hillside roads makes a quiet keepsake of a home in the valley.
