Te mapa
Panchkula was planned as a satellite city of Chandigarh, and the map shows it immediately. Streets are organised into rectangular sectors, each a self-contained block with internal roads, markets and green space, divided by wide arterial roads. The regularity reads clearly from above.
To the north the foothills of the Shivalik range rise abruptly, and the sector grid gives way to steeper, more irregular ground. The Ghaggar river runs through the area, its broad seasonal bed forming an open, uneven band that contrasts with the ordered sectors. Chandigarh and Mohali lie close by, forming what is often called the Tricity.
The Mansa Devi temple on the city's edge is an important pilgrimage site, and the Morni Hills nearby offer the region's cooler heights. A Panchkula map poster presents a modern Indian planned city in plan form: sectors, avenues, a river bed and the start of the mountains.
Rectangular sectors separated by wide roads give the city a clear, repeating pattern, with each block holding its own houses, markets and parks.
A wide, seasonal river bed crosses the region, creating an irregular open band that breaks the grid and adds a natural line to the composition.
Hills rise sharply to the north, bringing curving roads and thinning settlement where the planned city meets the edge of the Himalayan foothills.

Koteā ko Panchkula
Panchkula residents know their sector numbers well, and a map that shows them is a natural way to mark a home, a first job or a family address. The grid's order makes a clean, architectural print.
Add a title, subtitle and your chosen coordinates, and select one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy the $9 digital files in six sizes or order a matte print delivered from a nearby partner.
