Resen Map Poster & Print
Resen is in south-western North Macedonia, in the basin that holds Lake Prespa. The town sits a short distance north of the shore on flat, fertile ground, with mountains on both sides separating the basin from Ohrid to the west and Bitola to the east. On the map, it is a compact settlement with a clear central area and streets spreading outwards.
The landscape around the town is dominated by orchards. The Prespa area is known across the country for its apples, and from above the land is divided into long, regular plots lined with rows of trees. The lake is a large, calm shape to the south, and the mountain slopes add wide open areas around the edges of the composition.
