Te mapa
Road Town wraps around Road Harbour on the south coast of Tortola, the largest of the British Virgin Islands. The bay forms a broad curve, and the town fills the flatter land along its edge. Behind it the ground rises steeply, and roads climb the hillsides in sharp switchbacks. From above, the town reads as a crescent of streets pressed between water and slopes.
Much of the modern waterfront stands on reclaimed land, which is why part of the shoreline looks so straight compared with the natural coves nearby. The older centre sits along Main Street, a narrow road a little back from the current shore. Road Town is the capital of the territory and has become a notable centre for sailing, with marinas and charter bases around the harbour.
A Road Town map poster shows a harbour doing a lot of work. Ferry docks, marinas and cruise piers cut into the bay, and the reclaimed edge makes a crisp line. Hillside roads add a fine, looping texture above the town. The poster suits anyone who has set out from here by boat.

Part of the shoreline was built out over the water, giving it a straighter, more regular edge than the surrounding coast. The difference is easy to read on the map.
Roads climb the steep slopes behind town in tight bends. On the poster these loops form a lighter, winding texture above the dense waterfront streets.

Koteā ko Road Town
Road Town is where many sailing holidays in the Virgin Islands begin and end. Its harbour and hillside roads make a map that feels specific to that experience, whether you live on Tortola or once chartered a boat from here.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a boat name, a crew list or a date. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint gives it the feel of a nautical chart.
