Te mapa
Royal Palm Beach lies in Palm Beach County, Florida, west of West Palm Beach. Despite its name, it is an inland community. On a map it appears as a planned village of curving residential streets, cul-de-sacs and landscaped roads, with a series of lakes and canals spread across its area.
The lakes and canals are part of the drainage system that made development possible on this low, formerly marshy land. From above they appear as smooth, irregular shapes set between neighbourhoods, often with houses backing onto the water. Major east–west roads, including Okeechobee Boulevard and Southern Boulevard, frame the village and link it to the coast.
A Royal Palm Beach map poster draws out the organic shapes of the lakes against the looping pattern of suburban streets. It is a calm, open composition. The water bodies create large pale spaces, and the streets curl around them in soft arcs. The result feels light and balanced.
Lakes of various shapes are scattered through the village. They create smooth open spaces that break up the residential streets.
Residential roads loop and curve around the lakes and end in cul-de-sacs. They form a soft, flowing pattern typical of planned Florida communities.
Long east–west boulevards frame the village. They connect it to West Palm Beach and to the coast further east.
