Te mapa
Rozzano lies just south of Milan in Lombardy, part of the ring of towns where the city gives way to the flat farmland of the Po plain. From above, it combines large residential blocks, especially in the districts built during the post-war expansion, with older village cores and open fields at the edges. Straight roads and irrigation channels divide the surrounding land into long rectangles.
The Naviglio Pavese, the historic canal linking Milan with Pavia, passes close by, and the landscape of the southern agricultural park begins nearby. Rozzano is also known for the Humanitas research hospital, one of the major medical centres in the Milan area. A tram line connects the town with the city centre, making it closely tied to daily life in Milan.
A Rozzano map poster shows a place on the threshold between city and countryside. Dense blocks sit next to fields, and the straight lines of roads and canals give the composition a calm, orderly rhythm. It is a map for people who know this edge of Milan well, and for whom it is simply home.
Large residential blocks built during Milan's expansion form bold, regular shapes on the map, contrasting with the smaller footprints of the older village centres.
To the south and west, fields divided by irrigation channels stretch across the plain, adding fine parallel lines that frame the built area.
Roads and a tram line tie Rozzano to the city, and on the map the continuous urban fabric to the north shows how closely it belongs to the metropolis.
