San Pedro de Urabá lies in the northern part of Antioquia, in the Urabá region, inland from the Caribbean coast and close to the boundary with the department of Córdoba. On a map the town is a compact grid of blocks sitting in rolling, open country. Its streets are laid out regularly around the centre, and the pattern ends quite abruptly where the town meets pasture.
Away from the coastal banana belt usually associated with Urabá, the land around San Pedro is mostly used for livestock and farming. The map reflects that. Beyond the built-up area there are few lines apart from rural roads and the streams running through low ground. The result is a clean composition with a dense, orderly centre and a wide, quiet surrounding.
A San Pedro de Urabá map poster shows the town at the scale it is lived in: the blocks you walk, the roads out to the farms and the watercourses that mark the land. It suits people from the municipality, families spread across Antioquia and Córdoba, and anyone who wants a restrained, accurate picture of a place they know.
The centre is set out in a regular pattern of blocks, which gives the poster a crisp geometric core that stands out clearly against the open land around it.
Rural roads leave town across rolling cattle country toward neighbouring municipalities. On the map they are among the few lines that cross the wide, open field.
Small streams wind through the low ground around the town, their irregular curves contrasting with the straight streets of the centre.

Koteā ko San Pedro de Urabá
People hang this map for the connection it holds, not for spectacle: a birthplace, a family farm nearby, or years spent in Urabá. The contrast between the neat grid and the open country makes a composed image that sits well in a living room or bedroom.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a surname, a wedding date or the name of a vereda. Five styles are available: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Each gives the same town a slightly different tone.
