Te mapa
Santana do Paraíso lies in eastern Minas Gerais, in the metropolitan area of the Vale do Aço, next to the industrial city of Ipatinga. The land here is hilly and green, cut by streams that drain towards the Rio Doce. On a map the town looks less like one compact centre and more like a group of neighbourhoods scattered across the slopes.
Much of the municipality's growth has come recently, as people working in the steel region looked for housing close to Ipatinga. As a result the street pattern varies. There are short grids in the valleys, winding roads that follow the hillsides and new subdivisions laid out as separate blocks with plenty of open, wooded ground between them.
A Santana do Paraíso map poster shows this loose, varied layout clearly. Small clusters of streets are linked by roads through the hills, and highways and river lines connect them to the rest of the steel valley. It is an open, airy composition with plenty of white space, suited to calmer rooms.
Rather than a single dense centre, the map shows several separate clusters of streets. Each sits in its own fold of the hilly terrain.
Curving roads follow the contours of the slopes between neighbourhoods and give the map a softer, more organic line than a flat grid would.
Main roads tie the town to Ipatinga and the rest of the Vale do Aço and place it within a larger regional network.

Koteā ko Santana do Paraíso
For families who built a home in Santana do Paraíso while working in the steel valley, the town marks a new chapter. A map poster records the specific streets and hills where that happened, without depending on landmarks.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding the year you moved or a family name. There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Digital HD files cost $9, and matte printed posters are available with an optional wooden frame.
