Te mapa
Secaucus lies in Hudson County, New Jersey, in the middle of the Meadowlands, a wide area of marshland along the Hackensack River. From above, the town is almost an island: water and marsh surround it on most sides, and the Hackensack River forms its western edge. The built area is a mix of residential streets, warehouses and retail areas.
Transport infrastructure dominates the map. The New Jersey Turnpike runs along the east side of town, and Secaucus Junction, a major rail transfer station, links several NJ Transit lines. Highways and rail lines cross the marsh in long, straight lines, framing the town and connecting it to Manhattan just a few miles east.
Laurel Hill, a rocky outcrop once known as Snake Hill, rises from the marsh nearby and is now part of a county park. A Secaucus map poster brings together the marsh, the river and the network of roads and rails in a clear, graphic composition.

The river curves along the western edge of town, separating Secaucus from the marshes and industrial areas beyond.
