Te mapa
Segamat is the main town of Johor's northernmost district, close to the borders with Pahang and Negeri Sembilan. The Segamat River winds through the town, and on a map it divides the settlement into distinct halves joined by a few bridges. Around them, a mix of shophouse streets, residential estates and schools forms a compact but irregular urban footprint.
The town is a stop on the main north–south railway line through the peninsula, and the tracks cut a long, confident line across the map. Beyond the built-up area, the land is dominated by oil palm and rubber plantations, whose regular rows and access roads create a distinctive pattern. Low forested hills rise in the surrounding countryside.
The river has shaped more than the layout; Segamat has faced serious floods in some years, and the relationship between town and water is part of local memory. A Segamat map poster captures that geography plainly: the curve of the river, the line of the railway, and the careful grid of plantations reaching out to the horizon.
The river loops through the middle of town, dividing it into two parts linked by bridges, and its curves give the map a strong natural centre of gravity.
The main north–south line through the peninsula passes through Segamat, drawing a long straight cut across the town that contrasts with the meandering river.
Oil palm and rubber estates surround the town, their evenly spaced roads and blocks creating a fine geometric texture on the outer parts of the map.

Koteā ko Segamat
Segamat is the kind of town people leave for Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore while keeping family ties to it for life. A detailed print of its river and streets is a meaningful gift for anyone whose story starts here.
Customise the title and subtitle, add an important date, and refine the coordinates line. Select one of five styles, perhaps Sand for a warmer tone or Blueprint for a technical look. HD files are $9, and printed posters can be framed in wood.
