Te mapa
Singapore occupies a main island roughly the shape of a flattened diamond, together with dozens of smaller islands, at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. On the map the entire country is one city, with a green centre of forest and reservoirs in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve surrounded by rings of dense housing estates and expressways.
The modern city was founded as a British trading post in 1819, and the Singapore River, lined with old shophouses and quays, was its first commercial artery. Much of today's southern shore is reclaimed land: Marina Bay was created by extending the coast, and the Marina Barrage now closes it off as a freshwater reservoir framed by the city's towers.
Reclamation has changed the island's outline many times, from Changi Airport in the east to the joined islands of Jurong in the west. A Singapore map poster traces those new edges alongside the older street patterns of Chinatown, Kampong Glam and Little India, and the two links to Malaysia across the Johor Strait.

A large green area in the middle of the island with several reservoirs, forming a quiet, irregular core around which the expressways and housing estates are arranged.

Koteā ko Singapore
Singapore is one of the few places where a single map shows a whole country. It holds meaning for residents, for families who once lived there, and for those who were posted there for work. Its compact outline makes a naturally strong composition at any size.
Edit the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a neighbourhood, a posting or an anniversary. Choose among five styles, from Paper to Blueprint. HD files cost $9 as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF, and a free watermarked preview is available first.
