Te mapa
Sobradinho II is one of the administrative regions of Brazil's Federal District, northeast of the Plano Piloto of Brasília. Like much of the capital's surroundings, it was laid out with planning in mind, and from above its streets form ordered residential sectors separated by main roads and green spaces.
The district developed as an extension of the older town of Sobradinho, growing to house people drawn to the capital region. The layout reflects that purpose: regular blocks of housing, straight avenues joining the sectors, and wide margins where the natural cerrado, the dry savanna of central Brazil, remains between the built-up areas.
A Sobradinho II map poster captures a very particular kind of urban form. It is not the famous monumental axis of Brasília, but it shares its logic of zoned neighbourhoods and clean road lines. Set against the rolling plateau landscape, the pattern is tidy and geometric, with the surrounding open land giving it a strong outline.
Residential areas are grouped into distinct, regularly shaped sectors, a layout typical of the Federal District that looks neat and deliberate from above.
Straight main roads join the sectors to each other and to the routes toward Sobradinho and central Brasília, framing the housing blocks between them.
Stretches of natural savanna and open ground surround the district, giving the map a clear edge where the streets stop and the plateau begins.

For residents and families who have made a home in the Federal District, this map shows the neighbourhood they know beyond Brasília's postcard views. It is a grounded, personal alternative to a picture of the capital's monuments.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised, for example with your sector or a meaningful date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, with Blueprint suiting the district's planned geometry.
