Te mapa
Ternivka is a coal-mining city in the Western Donbas, close to Pavlohrad in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. It grew in the second half of the twentieth century around its mines. The layout still shows that planned origin: wide, straight streets, large residential blocks and clear zones for housing and industry.
Around the city, the steppe is flat and open. Field boundaries run in long straight lines, and rail spurs lead toward the mine sites. A Ternivka map poster shows the regular street grid of the town against the quieter pattern of farmland, with industrial areas on the edges.
Unlike old towns that grew slowly, Ternivka took shape over a few decades. The map shows this too. Most blocks are similar in size, the avenues are evenly spaced, and there is hardly any of the winding street pattern found in older market towns.
Straight avenues cross at regular intervals and frame large blocks of apartment buildings. The map has a clean, almost diagrammatic structure that suits a minimal poster style.
Industrial areas connected to the coal mines sit on the city's edges. Rail lines and access roads lead to them, which makes the outer parts of the map busier than the fields.
Flat farmland surrounds the town on every side. Its long, straight field edges contrast with the dense city blocks at the centre.

For people who grew up in Ternivka or worked in its mines, the ordered street plan is a strong reminder of home. The poster keeps the layout clear and unfussy, which suits the place well.
Change the title and subtitle to a name, a street or a year, and edit the coordinates line if you like. It is available in five styles. HD files cost $9, and printed posters on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame, ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
