Te mapa
Trat is the capital of Thailand's easternmost coastal province, close to the border with Cambodia. Most travellers know it as the gateway to Ko Chang and the other islands in the Gulf of Thailand, stopping in town before heading to the piers. On the map it is a compact centre set a little inland, beside a river winding towards the sea.
The town's streets form a small, mostly rectilinear core, with markets and shophouses close together. The river curves along one side, and to the south the land turns into low, wet ground leading to mangroves and the coast. Beyond town, roads run south along the narrow strip of Thailand between the mountains and the sea.
A Trat map poster makes the most of these features: a tight urban centre, the loops of the river, and the coastal lowland stretching out behind. It works well for people who passed through on the way to the islands and remember the town, as well as for those with a real connection to it.

Trat's core is small and dense, a cluster of short streets and market lanes that forms a clear focus in the middle of the frame.
South of town the land flattens into wetland and mangrove towards the sea, leaving wide quiet areas that give the print room to breathe.

Koteā ko Trat
Trat is often the first and last stop of an island trip, which makes it a meaningful place for a travel poster. A map of the town holds the memory of arriving in Thailand's east better than a photograph of a beach.
Add a title, a subtitle such as a travel date, and coordinates, then choose Classic, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download six HD sizes for $9, or order a printed poster on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
