Te mapa
Umluj lies on the Red Sea coast in Saudi Arabia's Tabuk region. The map is defined by the meeting of land and sea: the town sits along a gently curving shoreline, with streets arranged behind the coast and the desert opening out inland. Offshore, a scattering of small islands and shallow water gives the sea an unusually detailed pattern.
Those islands and the clear water around them have given Umluj a reputation as one of the most scenic stretches of the Saudi coast, and the area lies within the wider zone of recent Red Sea tourism development. The town itself remains compact, with a harbour and a waterfront that face the water.
An Umluj map poster makes the most of this contrast. The built area forms a clear shape along the shore, while the islands appear as small, irregular marks across the sea. In black and white, it becomes a composition of coast, town and open water, both spare and detailed at once.
Small islands are scattered across the sea off Umluj, giving the water side of the map a distinctive pattern of irregular shapes.
The coast bends gently along the town, forming a clean edge between the street network and the Red Sea.
Inland, the built area gives way to open land, so the town appears as a distinct band held between desert and water.
