Te mapa
Urunda lies in the Mbeya region of southwestern Tanzania, part of the country's southern highlands. It is a modest town, and on a map it appears as a compact network of local streets with plots and farmland around it. The pattern is informal and organic, shaped by use and terrain rather than by a planned grid.
Because the town is small, each line on the map carries weight. A few main routes pass through or near the centre, while narrower tracks lead toward surrounding fields and homesteads. Beyond the built area the ground opens up, and the map becomes a portrait of a town set among working farmland.
An Urunda map poster is a way to hold on to a specific place that seldom appears in atlases. It is drawn from map data at the scale you choose, so you can focus closely on the centre or pull back to show more of the land around it.
Streets follow land use and terrain rather than a grid, giving the map an irregular, hand-drawn quality that sits well in a minimalist frame.
A few stronger roads cross the settlement. On the poster they form the main structure, with the smaller lanes gathered around them.
Open land around the town fills much of the frame, a reminder that Urunda sits in a farming area of the Mbeya region.

Koteā ko Urunda
An Urunda print is for those who know the town personally: people born there, relatives abroad, volunteers or teachers who spent time in the region. A clean map shows where home is more exactly than a photo can.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to suit you, perhaps adding a name or a year. Then pick a style: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint, or Sand, whose warm tone works well with the landscape.
