Te mapa
Uttaradit is the capital of a province where Thailand's northern hills meet the central plains. The town grew as a river port on the Nan River, and the map still shows that origin. The main streets run parallel to the water, the railway follows its own line through town, and the grid thins quickly into rice fields and orchards.
Its most famous figure is Phraya Phichai Dap Hak, the general of the Broken Sword, who fought under King Taksin. A monument to him stands in front of the provincial hall. The province is also known for its langsat fruit and for the Sirikit Dam upstream on the Nan, which holds back one of the country's major reservoirs.
An Uttaradit map poster balances water and grid. The Nan River draws a soft line along the town, bridges cross it at intervals, and the railway adds a second, straighter line. Around them, the modest blocks of the centre give way to open land, creating a composition that feels calm and settled.
The river runs alongside the old town, and the nearest streets follow its line, a reminder of the time when Uttaradit was a busy river landing.
The northern railway crosses the town on its own straight path, a strong, clean line that contrasts with the gentle curve of the river.
The monument to Phraya Phichai Dap Hak in front of the provincial hall is the town's best-known landmark and a natural point on which to centre the map.

Koteā ko Uttaradit
Uttaradit is a place people pass through on the northern railway or come home to for the holidays, and anyone who knows it will recognise its river plan at once. A framed map is a gentle way to keep that landscape close.
Write your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with the year you moved away or a family name. The five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, show the river either as a crisp line or as a soft, warm curve.
