Te mapa
Vincennes borders the eastern edge of Paris, just beyond the Périphérique, and on a map it reads almost as an extension of the capital. Its streets are tightly built, mostly with nineteenth- and early twentieth-century apartment blocks along straight avenues, and the town itself has little open space. That density makes the contrast with its southern border all the more striking.
To the south lies the Bois de Vincennes, one of the two great woodland parks of Paris, with lakes, curving paths and open lawns. Between town and forest stands the Château de Vincennes, a royal fortress whose fourteenth-century keep is often called the tallest in Europe. On the map its rectangular enclosure appears as a crisp, walled block.
A Vincennes map poster makes the most of three textures: the fine urban grain, the geometric fortress and the soft, irregular forms of the park. Métro line 1 ends at the château, so many people first know the place as a terminus. On paper it becomes a neighbourhood with its own clear identity, not just the end of the line.
The royal fortress fills a long rectangle between town and woods. Its walls and keep form a sharp geometric block that anchors the southern part of the map.
The large park south of town is laced with winding paths, lakes and clearings, which give the lower edge of the poster a softer, looser pattern of lines.
North of the château, straight avenues and closely packed blocks run right up to the Paris boundary, forming a dense, continuous street pattern with barely a gap.

Koteā ko Vincennes
Vincennes suits people who have lived in eastern Paris and remember weekend walks around the lakes, a first apartment near the château or the last stop on line 1. The map feels urban and green at the same time.
Personalise it with a street name, a wedding date or the year you moved in, and choose from five styles. Paper and Sand give the forest a warm tone, while Blueprint suits the fortress geometry. Printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
