Te mapa
West Puente Valley is an unincorporated community in Los Angeles County, in the eastern San Gabriel Valley. From above, it is a tight grid of residential blocks with single-family houses on small lots. Wide arterial roads run across it, and it merges with La Puente, Baldwin Park and West Covina, so the boundaries are hard to see on the map.
Like much of the valley, the area was farmland and orchards before the postwar housing boom filled it with suburban streets. Freeways now frame the region, and the Puente Hills rise to the south as a green edge to the flat valley floor. The community is largely residential.
A West Puente Valley map poster shows Southern California suburbia at its most regular. Long, parallel streets, occasional flood-control channels and big arterial crossings make a fine, even texture. It is a quiet, graphic image of a place that many people know as home but rarely see from above.
Evenly spaced streets and small blocks fill almost the whole map. The pattern is dense and regular, typical of postwar San Gabriel Valley housing.
Wide east–west and north–south roads cut through the grid at regular intervals. They connect the community with its neighbours across the valley.
Concrete flood-control channels cross the valley in straight or gently angled lines. They add an unusual geometric element to the street pattern.

Koteā ko West Puente Valley
For families who have lived in West Puente Valley for decades, a map of the neighbourhood shows the streets where children grew up and relatives lived a few blocks away. Its repeating grid also makes a clean, modern print.
You can title it with your street, family name or year, add a subtitle and edit the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the HD files or order a printed poster with an optional frame.
