Te mapa
Yambio is the capital of Western Equatoria State in South Sudan, near the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The region is one of the greenest in the country, with higher rainfall, forests and farmland, and on a map the town appears as a network of roads surrounded by dense vegetation and cultivated plots.
The area is home mainly to the Azande people, and agriculture plays a central role in the local economy. Yambio serves as an administrative and trading centre for the region, with roads leading toward other towns in Western Equatoria and across the border.
A Yambio map poster presents a town with a relaxed, open layout. The main roads cross the centre and extend into the countryside, while smaller streets and paths form a lighter network between compounds and gardens. The composition feels spacious and organic, reflecting the green landscape around the town.
The main roads meet in the town centre, where government offices and the market are located, forming the most concentrated part of the map.
Routes leave Yambio in several directions, linking it with other towns of Western Equatoria and the nearby border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Forest, farmland and gardens surround the built-up area, leaving open space on the map that reflects the region's lush landscape.
