Te mapa
Yasynuvata lies in Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine, just north-east of the city of Donetsk. It grew up as a railway settlement, and on a map that origin is plain to see: broad bands of track and sidings cut through the town, with residential streets organised on either side and main roads crossing the rail corridor at a few key points.
The town has long been one of the important rail junctions of the Donbas, where lines serving the industrial region meet and divide. Beyond the tracks, the street pattern is fairly regular, with blocks of houses and apartment buildings, small parks and industrial sites filling in the space between the railway and the surrounding steppe.
A Yasynuvata map poster turns this structure into a clear graphic study. The wide rail corridor reads as a strong horizontal element, the neighbourhoods fall into place around it, and the open land beyond gives the composition room. It is a map for people who know the town and want to keep its shape in view.
Multiple lines meet at Yasynuvata, and the tracks and yards form the broadest, most dominant feature on the map, splitting the town in two.
On either side of the railway the streets follow a largely regular pattern of blocks, making the residential areas easy to read.
Beyond the edge of town the land opens into the wide, flat country of the Donbas, framing the settlement in generous white space.

Koteā ko Yasynuvata
Many people with ties to Yasynuvata now live elsewhere, and a map of the town is a way of keeping home present. Its rail lines and streets are familiar to anyone who once lived or worked there.
You can edit the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or a meaningful year, and choose whether to include coordinates. The map is offered in Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
