Te mapa
Yesagyo is a town in Magway Region, in the dry zone of central Myanmar, close to the Irrawaddy River. The land here is flat and fairly arid, and the river is the dominant feature on the map. Its wide channel, sandbanks and changing braids run past the town and show how much the landscape depends on the water.
The streets form a compact grid close to the river, with markets and public buildings clustered near the centre and roads leading out into the agricultural land. Beyond the edges of town, small fields and scattered villages cover the plain, broken by tracks and occasional water channels that connect the farms to local routes.
A Yesagyo map poster shows a type of settlement typical of the Irrawaddy valley: a town oriented toward the river, built on level ground, with the surrounding countryside drawn as a fine mesh of plots. Without mountains or coastlines, the composition depends on the contrast between the broad river and the smaller lines of the town.
The broad river and its shifting sandbanks run beside the town. It is the largest and most fluid shape on the map and frames Yesagyo from one side.
The central streets are laid out in a fairly regular pattern. They give the town a clear, compact form that stands out against the open plain.
Around the town the land is divided into small farm plots and tracks, drawing a fine, even texture that fills the rest of the frame.

Koteā ko Yesagyo
For families from central Myanmar and for those living far away, this map is a clear record of home: the streets they know, the river nearby, the fields they passed on the way out of town. It makes a meaningful gift across generations.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, with names written as you prefer and a date that matters. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint gives the river a crisp, graphic outline.
