Te mapa
Yumbe lies in the West Nile sub-region of north-western Uganda, not far from the border with South Sudan. The town is the centre of Yumbe District. It is compact, with a small grid of streets around the market and main roads, and it spreads outward into open savanna and farmland dotted with homesteads.
The district is known internationally for Bidi Bidi, one of the largest refugee settlements in the world, established in 2016 to host people fleeing conflict in South Sudan. Its presence has changed the region considerably, adding new roads, services and communities across the surrounding countryside.
A Yumbe map poster shows a town in simple lines: a central market area, roads leading out toward neighbouring districts, and the sparse tracks that cross the savanna. It is a meaningful keepsake for people from West Nile, and for aid workers and volunteers who have spent time in the region.
Streets gather around the town's market and main roads, forming a small, dense core that anchors the middle of the poster.
Roads lead out of Yumbe toward Arua, Koboko and the border, drawing long lines across the otherwise open landscape.
Beyond the town, narrow tracks link scattered homesteads and farms across the savanna, leaving a light, open pattern at the edges.

Koteā ko Yumbe
Yumbe matters to many people: those who grew up there, those who found safety nearby, and those who came to work alongside them. A simple map of the town is a respectful way to remember that connection.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, for example with dates of service or a family name. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, as HD files or a printed poster.
