关于地图
Abinsk Map Poster & Print
Abinsk is a town in Krasnodar Krai in southern Russia, set where the Kuban lowland meets the first foothills of the western Caucasus. On the map it shows a regular street grid, with long parallel streets and square blocks spreading across level ground beside the Abin River.
The town began as a Russian fortification in the nineteenth century and later grew into a rural and industrial centre. The railway between Krasnodar and Novorossiysk passes through it, and to the south the landscape rises gradually into forested hills.
A Abinsk map poster captures the contrast between the orderly town and the land around it. The grid of blocks, the winding river, the straight rail line and the first folds of the hills give the design a clear structure with a natural edge.

The Abin River
The small river from which the town takes its name winds past the built-up area, adding a soft curve to the geometry.
Caucasus foothills
To the south, the flat land gives way to wooded hills, the first rise of the mountains toward the Black Sea coast.
