关于地图
Albadéria Map Poster & Print
Albadéria lies in the Faranah region of Guinea, in the upland country of the interior. From above it is a modest settlement, a handful of streets and paths gathered around a centre, set within a wide landscape of savanna, woodland and cultivated plots. Roads leading in and out connect it to neighbouring villages and to the larger towns of the region.
The Faranah region is known as the area where the Niger River rises, and the surrounding country is crossed by streams flowing through gentle valleys. Little is widely documented about Albadéria itself, but its map tells the familiar story of a rural Guinean community: homes clustered close together, with farmland and bush stretching out toward the horizon.
An Albadéria map poster is quiet and minimal. Most of the frame is open ground, crossed by a few roads and waterways, with the settlement itself forming a small, detailed centre. That simplicity is part of its appeal: printed in black and white, it becomes an abstract, balanced image that still marks one precise place on the earth.

Connecting roads
A few roads and tracks lead away from the settlement toward nearby villages and towns, forming thin lines that give the composition a sense of direction.
Upland waterways
Streams in this part of Guinea run through shallow valleys, and where they appear on the map they add fine, winding lines to the surrounding landscape.

一张有意义的地图
For families from Albadéria and the Faranah region, including those now living in Conakry or abroad, a map of the village is a personal link to home. It marks a place that appears on few other prints, which makes it all the more meaningful.
