关于地图
Rodez Map Poster & Print
Rodez stands on a steep promontory above the valley of the Aveyron River in southern France, and its map makes the site immediately clear. The old town occupies the summit in a tight, rounded shape, enclosed by boulevards that trace the line of its former walls, while newer districts spread down the slopes and across the plateau.
At the centre stands the Cathedral of Notre-Dame, built of red sandstone, with a tall bell tower visible from far around. Rodez is also the birthplace of the painter Pierre Soulages, and a museum dedicated to his work opened here in 2014.
A Rodez map poster shows a classic hilltop town: dense medieval streets at the top, a ring of boulevards, and roads winding down to the river below. The meanders of the Aveyron and the rolling countryside of the Rouergue give the composition a strong, natural frame.

Ring of boulevards
Boulevards encircle the old town where the walls once stood, drawing a clear loop around the centre of the map.
Aveyron meanders
The river winds through the valley below the town, its bends giving the lower part of the map a flowing line.

为什么选Rodez
一张有意义的地图
Rodez is a place people remember for its silhouette, the cathedral tower above the hill. A map translates that silhouette into a plan, and suits any room that likes quiet, clear shapes.
You can set the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir echoes Soulages's black with some wit.
