关于地图
Sibut Map Poster & Print
Sibut is the capital of the Kémo prefecture in the Central African Republic, north of Bangui on the main road into the interior of the country. On the map, the town has a loose, open form, with streets and compounds spreading along the main roads rather than packed into a dense centre.
Its position has long made it a stopping point on the routes that link the capital with the north and east of the country, and the roads leaving Sibut are the strongest lines on the poster. A river passes close to the town, its course marked by strips of gallery forest that stand out against the surrounding savanna.
A Sibut map poster is a picture of a regional town in the African interior: a road junction, scattered neighbourhoods and markets, and a wide landscape of wooded grassland reaching to the edges of the frame. It is a simple composition, but it carries real meaning for those who know the place.

Open town form
Neighbourhoods spread in a loose, low-density pattern along the roads, leaving generous space between clusters of homes, yards and markets.
River and forest
A nearby river, fringed with gallery forest, adds a winding natural line that contrasts with the straighter roads of the town.
