The map
Boundiali lies in the north of Côte d'Ivoire, in the savanna country of the Bagoué region, where tall grasses, scattered trees and farmland replace the forests of the south. The town is a regional centre, and on a map it appears as a moderately dense core of streets set within a wide, open landscape.
The street pattern is loose and practical. A few main roads cross at the centre and continue outward toward other towns in the north, and residential areas fill the spaces between them, with blocks becoming larger and more irregular toward the edges. Beyond, rural tracks lead into farmland and small villages.
A Boundiali map poster captures a town that sits comfortably in its landscape rather than dominating it. The centre holds the density, but the eye keeps travelling outward along the roads. For a place that rarely appears in guidebooks, the poster offers a plain, respectful picture of how it is laid out.
Main roads meet near the middle of town, and the densest streets and market areas cluster around that junction, forming the focal point of the print.
Around the built area the map opens into wide, lightly marked land, reflecting the savanna and farmland that stretch across northern Côte d'Ivoire.
Roads run from the centre toward neighbouring towns and villages, long lines that give the composition its structure and connect Boundiali to the wider region.
