关于地图
Gur’yevsk Map Poster & Print
Gur’yevsk lies in the south-west of Kemerovo Oblast, known as Kuzbass, near the low Salair Ridge. The town grew around metalworking. It began as an early nineteenth-century smelting works, and metallurgy has remained part of its identity ever since. The town's name honours a minister of that era.
On a map the town stretches along a river valley. The industrial site takes up a large area near the centre, and residential streets fan out around it in a mix of regular blocks and older, less even lanes. Hills and forest close in at the edges, typical of the Salair foothills.
A Gur’yevsk map poster reflects a Siberian town shaped by a single long-running works: the industrial core, the housing around it and the wooded hills that frame both. It suits people from Kuzbass who want a clear, unfussy reminder of the town where they or their parents grew up.

River valley
The town runs along a small valley, and its longest roads follow the lie of the land instead of cutting across it.
Salair foothills
Low hills and forest surround the town, so the edges of the street network are irregular and soften into open ground.
