The map
Donggang sits where the Donggang River meets the sea in Pingtung County. The map is organised around water. Long harbour basins and breakwaters reach into the strait, the river bends in from the north, and a compact grid of streets packs the land between them. Fish ponds and farmland spread in a softer pattern towards the interior. Along the shore, the coastline is straight and low.
The town is one of Taiwan's most important fishing ports and is closely associated with Pacific bluefin tuna, which has its own seasonal festival here. Donglong Temple is the centre of the Wang Ye boat-burning ceremony held every three years. Ferries leave Donggang for Liuqiu Island, a short crossing offshore that many visitors make.
A Donggang map poster brings the harbour's shape to the foreground. You see the jetties, the anchorage basins and the river's final curve, with the town's dense streets behind them. Printed in a single ink, the image looks almost like a nautical chart. That suits a place whose life has long depended on boats, catches and weather.
Several enclosed basins and long breakwaters form the most striking shape on the map, a set of geometric water pockets along the town's seafront.
The river curves through the northern side of town before reaching the strait. It adds a softer line that contrasts with the straight harbour walls.
The pier for boats to Liuqiu Island marks the start of a short sea crossing. The island itself lies just beyond the edge of a typical town frame.

Why Donggang
Donggang suits anyone who has eaten tuna on the quayside, crossed to Liuqiu or grown up among the fishing boats. The harbour lines make a strong graphic, even for someone who has never been there.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a festival year or a family name. The map comes in five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. It is sold as an HD digital file or a printed poster.
