Rectilinear blocks
Straight roads laid out on the flat plain create orderly rows of plots, a simple grid that fills much of the settlement and prints with crisp clarity.

El mapa
Chigiri Map Poster & Print
Chigiri lies immediately to the north of Blagoveshchensk, the capital of Amur Oblast, in the Russian Far East. The land here is the broad, level plain near the lower Zeya and the Amur. Chigiri has grown steadily as the city has expanded outward, and on a map it reads as part suburb and part independent village, with its own centre and a looser fringe.
The street pattern is largely rectilinear. Long parallel roads divide the land into blocks of houses and garden plots, and newer developments add their own sections of grid at slightly different orientations. Roads towards Blagoveshchensk connect the settlement to the city's denser fabric to the south, while fields and scrub remain open to the north.
A Chigiri map poster captures a place in transition between city and countryside. The grid is regular but unfinished at the edges. The more tightly built city appears at one side of the frame, and open plain stretches away on the other. It makes a clean, graphic image, well suited to the Blueprint or Noir styles.

Link to Blagoveshchensk
Roads leading south tie Chigiri to the regional capital. With a wider framing, the poster can show the transition to denser city streets.
Open northern edge
Beyond the last streets, the plain opens into fields and undeveloped land, leaving generous empty space at the top of the composition.
