El mapa
Hatton is a town in the Central Province of Sri Lanka, in the heart of the hill country's tea-growing region. It sits in a valley surrounded by steep slopes covered in tea estates, and the map reflects that terrain. Roads wind and curve rather than run straight, and the town's built-up area follows the valley floor between the hills.
The main railway line through the hill country passes through Hatton, and its curving track is one of the clearest lines on the map. The town is also the main gateway to Adam's Peak, or Sri Pada, the sacred mountain climbed by pilgrims of several faiths, with the route heading south toward the village of Dalhousie.
A Hatton map poster captures a town shaped by mountains and tea. Nearby reservoirs such as Castlereagh add broad, irregular shapes of water to the landscape. In black and white, the winding roads, the railway and the contours of the valleys give the print a flowing, layered look.

Hatton is the main starting point for pilgrims heading to Adam's Peak, with the road south toward Dalhousie leading to the foot of the sacred mountain.
Steep slopes planted with tea surround the town, and the winding estate roads and reservoirs nearby give the map a rich, organic texture.

Por qué Hatton
Hatton is a place many pass through on the way to Adam's Peak or on the famous hill country train, and a place many families from the tea estates call home. A map of the town is a reminder of both.
Add the date of a climb, a family name or an estate to the title and subtitle, set the coordinates, and choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
