The map
Fenoarivo Be is in the Bongolava region of central-western Madagascar. This is highland plateau country, with wide grasslands, low hills and valleys where rice is grown along the streams. Settlements are far apart here, and the town serves as a local centre for the surrounding rural area.
On a map, Fenoarivo Be is a small and fairly compact settlement. Its streets gather around the roads that meet in town, with the densest part near the centre and a sparse fringe of houses and tracks around it. Beyond that the lines thin quickly: paths following ridges, and small watercourses tracing the valley floors.
A Fenoarivo Be map poster is mostly about proportion. There is a small, detailed centre in an expansive landscape with very few lines. That openness is what makes the print distinctive, and it reflects the scale of Madagascar's interior honestly.
The town grew where regional roads meet. Those routes are the strongest lines on the map and lead out in several directions across the plateau.
Streets and lanes cluster tightly in the middle of town, forming a small, dense mark. It stands out clearly against the empty land around it.
Thin watercourses wind through the low ground around the town. They add gentle curves to a mostly open, spare composition.
