Glassmaking quarters
Dense clusters of short lanes mark the districts where glass furnaces and bangle workshops have long operated. They give the centre a noticeably finer grain than the newer residential edges.

The map
Fīrozābād lies on the plains of western Uttar Pradesh, a short drive east of Agra. From above, its older neighbourhoods form a close mesh of lanes where streets bend, split and rejoin with little regard for a compass. Newer colonies surround this core in tidier blocks, and the main road toward Agra and Etawah draws a long, straight line through the town.
The city is known across India for glass. Its furnaces and workshops have produced bangles for generations, and the name Fīrozābād is closely tied to the coloured bangles worn at weddings and festivals. On a black-and-white map that colour disappears, but the density of the working quarters stays visible as a darker, finer texture of short streets and tightly packed plots.
A Fīrozābād map poster keeps the town at a scale where these textures read clearly: the knotted centre, the straighter arterial roads, the railway line crossing the town and the fields that begin almost as soon as the last street ends. It is a modest, honest portrait of an industrial town that rarely appears as wall art.
Dense clusters of short lanes mark the districts where glass furnaces and bangle workshops have long operated. They give the centre a noticeably finer grain than the newer residential edges.
A main road runs through the town toward Agra in one direction and Etawah in the other. It draws a clear axis across the poster and anchors the street pattern around it.
The Delhi–Howrah main line passes through Fīrozābād. Its long, even track contrasts with the irregular lanes around it and gives the composition a second strong line.
