Santa Fe line
The railroad that brought the town into being still cuts through the middle of the map, and the downtown grid is aligned with it.

Ardmore Map Poster & Print
Ardmore grew up along the Santa Fe railroad in the late 1880s, and the map still shows it. The downtown blocks line up with the tracks, and the residential streets spread outward in a broad, regular grid typical of Southern Plains towns. Interstate 35 passes along the western side, tying the city to Oklahoma City to the north and Dallas–Fort Worth to the south.
The town took its name from Ardmore, the Philadelphia suburb on the Main Line railroad. Today it is the seat of Carter County. The Arbuckle Mountains rise to the north, and Lake Murray State Park lies just to the southeast, so the city sits between low ridges and one of the state's older park lakes.
An Ardmore map poster shows how a railroad town takes shape on open prairie. The tracks run through the centre as a single decisive line, the grid squares off on either side, and the highway traces the city's edge. It is a clean, legible design that suits a study, an office or the hallway of a family home.

Interstate 35
The interstate runs along the city's western side. Its long, smooth curve and interchanges contrast with the square blocks of the older neighbourhoods.
Toward Lake Murray
To the southeast the streets thin out toward Lake Murray State Park, where the lake's branching shoreline adds organic shapes to the edge of a wider print.

Pourquoi Ardmore
Une carte qui a du sens
Ardmore is a place people carry with them: a hometown, a first job, a stop on the drive between Dallas and Oklahoma City. A map poster keeps its familiar grid in view in a way a photograph cannot.
Personalise the title and subtitle, and keep or change the coordinates line. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand gives the prairie grid a warm, sunlit tone, and Noir makes the railroad line stand out sharply.
