Lokbatan Map Poster & Print
Lokbatan is a settlement within the Garadagh district of Baku, in Azerbaijan, lying southwest of the city centre near the shore of the Caspian Sea. The land here is dry and bare, and from above the settlement appears as a cluster of streets and low buildings set among open, uneven terrain, with main transport routes passing toward the south.
Oil has defined Lokbatan for decades, and the surrounding area is marked by oil fields, pipelines and industrial sites. The settlement is also known for the Lokbatan mud volcano, one of the most active in Azerbaijan, which has erupted several times with flames. On a map, these features create an unusual mix of residential streets and open industrial land.
A Lokbatan map poster shows this setting in a restrained, graphic form: the compact residential core, the roads leading toward Baku and the open landscape shaped by the oil industry. It suits people from the settlement, oil workers and anyone interested in the distinctive industrial landscapes around the Azerbaijani capital.

Pourquoi Lokbatan
Une carte qui a du sens
Lokbatan's identity is tied to oil and to its unusual landscape, and many local families have links to the industry. A map of the settlement is a fitting way to honour that history, or to remember a childhood spent on the edge of Baku.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be edited, so the poster can carry a family name, a year or a personal note. Choose from five styles and download six print sizes as 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF for $9, with no watermark.
