Percut Map Poster & Print
Percut sits in Deli Serdang Regency in North Sumatra, just east of the city of Medan, and much of its urban area merges with Medan's outer neighbourhoods. On the map, dense residential streets near the city border gradually give way to fields, plantations and villages as the land runs northeast toward the coast of the Strait of Malacca.
The landscape is flat and low, crossed by rivers flowing toward the sea, and the pattern of settlement follows the main roads and waterways. Near the coast, the land becomes wetter, with fishponds and mangrove areas. It is a place where suburban growth, agriculture and coastal life sit side by side within a single district.
A Percut map poster shows the texture of a place in transition. Close to Medan, the network of lanes is dense and fine; further out, long straight roads stretch across open land. In black and white, the contrast between built-up and open areas gives the composition a sense of distance and scale that suits a large print.
